‘The Kit Kat brand is hugely popular here in Australia with a proven track record of successful new flavour innovations, so we’re thrilled to be working with the Nestlé team to introduce Kit Kat to the ice cream freezer,’ she said.

After being released on March 25 2019 the decadent treat is already causing a stir online with many people having said they’re ‘so keen’ for the dessert.

‘Finally we have Kit Kat ice cream in Australia!

‘At first bite we did find there was a slight coffee taste but that soon passed and we were really impressed with the caramely [sic] wafer flavoured ice cream, we assumed it would just be vanilla ice cream,’ one person said on Instagram.

‘All together it’s the perfect combo and it resembles a Kit Kat. 10/10.’

Another said ‘I’m not drooling, you’re drooling!’.
